The Wrangler 4XE delivers an impressive 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of instant torque for heart-pounding performance off-road and on-road. The torque provided by the electric motor improves rock crawling capabilities as well as offers powerful speed. This is not your typical electric vehicle!

The Wrangler Unlimited with the 4XE plug-in hybrid powertrain gives you power and the ability to drive 21 miles on all-electric power on a full battery. It also has a 370 mile total Hybrid range and offers a combined MGPe of 56 miles. MPGe is an abbreviation for “Miles Per Gallon Equivalent”. MPG means “Miles Per Gallon” and lets you know how far a specific vehicle can travel utilizing one gallon of gas. MPGe comparatively lets you know the number of miles an electrical vehicle can travel utilizing what could be compared to one gallon of fuel.

You will also have the feature of regenerative braking on the Wrangler 4XE. The Max Regeneration feature remaps the accelerator pedal to command more aggressive regen at low pedal positions. It allows you to slow the vehicle down without the brake pedal, but a complete stop always requires the brake pedal. It also stays selected until you turn it off.

The Wrangler 4XE provides the best of both worlds with being able to run on gas or all-electric. If you are not able to plug it into charge, no worries, you can continue driving on gasoline. If you have owned Wranglers previously, you will notice a smoother ride in electric and it is also more quiet. If you decide to charge it at home with a Level 1 charger, it will take about 12 hours. If you are able to utilize a Level 2 charger, it will charge in about 2 hours. You can also charge in any weather condition.
